Trying something out...

You've probably noticed the really brief posts I've done recently - basically I'm just trying something out...each time I find an interesting article I'm sticking it straight on this here blog. Reason for this? I realised I was not putting some useful stuff on simply because of the time it takes to write a 'proper' post.
Let me know if you like / detest these mini-posts.

Hey Scott,
I like the mini-posts. It's always nice to get a headsup on a good article you've seen elsewhere.

Cheers,
James

I don't mind it. But something you may want to look into is setting up a del.icio.us feed as your..."linkblog". That's what I started doing a couple weeks ago for just that purpose. I may even know someone that wrote an IBlogExtension plugin to drop things to del.icio.us from the aggregator ;)

Actually I'd most likely start a new blog from this site (my server, etc...). I prefer to keep all the content for this blog in one place - makes finding stuff easier :-)

I like it and may give it a try, too. I've been jotting notes down in my notepad for when I have time, but I'm discovering that I never have time. I'm at over 200, so it's obviously not working.

I've noticed that some people run a separate linkblog - Scoble, of course, but also secretgeek and odetocode. Too much work for me, though.

Looking forward to your posts of all sizes.

I wouldn't say I "detest" them, but you've got a lot to say, dude! Seriously, I'm quite a-okay with the shorter posts. Its your blog. But it would be helpful for just a sentence or two on why you are providing the link. Like "Diagnostics and Logging in ASP.NET" "Good overview for beginners, intermediate developers on using tracing, performance counters, event logging, etc. OdeToCode. Scott Allen." But then again, that takes time. Errr.
